LOVE your plan! I may adopt some of your ideas. I've thought about starting some latin with my youngers (the boys are a lost cause - :) ). Especially love the prehistoric video and Holst "Planets".

I never got very far with Latin with my older boys. We tried once and then Timothy did French in high school and Nicholas, James, Nathaniel AND Christopher-Spanish.
I finally got around to teaching Latin after I took an Wheelocks class. So my 6th son had 2 years of Latin and now the others do too.
